Indian Army Agneepath Scheme

Indian Army Agneepath or Agneepath Yojana is a recruitment process for Agniveer for the posts of General Duty, Technical, Aviation and Ammunition Examiner, Clerk/Store Keeper, Tradesman for a contract period of four years. After four years of their service in the Indian Army, 25% of Agniveers will be placed in the regular cadre on the basis of merit, willingness and medical fitness. Indian Army Agniveer Recruitment 2023 Notification – Selection Process

As per the notification, the candidates will be shortlisted through three stages as mentioned in the Indian Army Agniveer notification. The candidates are expected to appear in each stage.

Indian Army Agniveer Medical Standards

(a) A candidate should have a robust physique and good mental health.

(b) Chest should be well developed having a minimum 5 Cms expansion.

(c) Should have normal hearing with each ear and good binocular vision in both eyes. He should be able to read 6/6 in the distance vision chart with each eye. Colour vision should be CP-III.

(d) Should have a sufficient number of natural healthy gum and teeth i.e. minimum of 14 dental points.

(e) Should not have diseases like deformity of bones, hydrocele and varicocele or piles.

(f) Should recognize red and green colours.

Indian Army Agniveer Salary 

The applicants shortlisted for Agniveer in the Armed Forces will be offered with a financial package of Rs. 4.75 lacs for the 1st year which will be upgraded to approx. Rs. 6.92 lacs in the 4th year. Besides the annual package, the candidates will be offered with allowances like risk & hardship, ration, dress, and travel allowances. 

Seva Nidhi: The Seva Nidhi package costs approximately Rs 11.71 lakh, including (Including, interest accumulated on the above amount as per the applicable interest rates would also be paid). 30% of monthly emoluments will be contributed by individuals and an equal amount will be contributed by the Government. 

Death Compensation: Non-contributory life insurance cover of Rs 48 lakhs with additional Ex. Gratia of Rs. 44 lakh for death attributable to service. The unreserved portion up to 4 years including SevaNidhi Component.

Step 1- Visit the official website https://joinindianarmy.nic.in/.

Step 2- On the homepage, click on “Agnipath” appearing on the header.

Step 3- A new page appears with URL- https://joinindianarmy.nic.in/AgnipathScheme.htm

Step 4- If you are a new user click on “Registration” and log in with your username and password. Go through the details and instructions carefully and then click on Continue option.

Step 5- An OTP (One Time Password) will be sent to the mobile number of the email id provided by the candidate.

Step 6- Now if the registration is completed then a new page will be displayed through which candidates can check their eligibility for the trade.

Step 7- Now after reviewing the eligibility, the candidates will be provided a list of rallies for various trades that will be held soon and the candidate must select the rally for the trade according to the eligibility of the candidate.

Step 8- Enter your personal details, and the educational qualification asked for in the application form.

Step 9- Attach required documents in prescribed format. Scanned passport-size photograph of the candidate (10 KB to 20 KB in JPG format) and scanned signature of the candidate (5 KB to 10 KB in JPG format).

Step 8- Pay the required application fee through online mode.

Step 9- Download the application form for future reference. Candidates have to print out two copies of the application form which will be required later.
